I got a voicemail last night asking if I'd like to help a local TV station and video producer record a little project. Since my free time is more precious now than ever before, I almost begged off. Instead, I called and agreed to do it.
I didn't know if I made the right decision until the words were out of my mouth, but
I immediately felt better, having said yes. Odd how you don't know always what's right until you've committed.
Crew call's at 4:30. Cool!
King Tide today. Some surfers and bodyboarders at OB were taking off on a
unique novelty wave. The waves were coming all the way into the beach,
hitting the sea wall, and bouncing back with a new wave, a backwave. The
unusual nature of that made surfers and bodyboarders, including me, a bit
giddy. Talked to a few—“I’ve never seen it do that” they all said. I didn’t
have my phone to get video, but I’ll never forget it. #SanDiego
